Here goes the first one......a blue kingfisher....
Clicked this one near a small field....took me almost an hour to get close enough...kept on flying away from one post to another....and finally settled down at one place for about a minute, giving me an opportunity.....

The next one is a pelican, perched up high on a tree.
It made multiple sorties around the tree...and in one such sortie, I got a chance to click it while it was approaching the tree....
The fascinating part to me was the eye and the long beak....and the flow of hair on the body.....
....surely worth the time....
And this pic was after it had landed on the tree branches.....
